CodeKarma Raises $2.5 Million, Aims to Revolutionize Software Development

CodeKarma, an AI-driven software productivity tool, has recently secured $2.5 million in a pre-seed/seed funding round. The round was led by Prosus, Accel, and Xeed Ventures, with participation from SenseAI Ventures, Stargazer Ventures, and others. This investment will be used to scale globally, deepen technological capabilities, and expand into new enterprise verticals.

The CodeKarma platform is designed to integrate real-time production insights directly into developers’ workflows. This innovative approach aims to accelerate code understanding, reduce technical debt, and enable continuous improvement of software systems as they are built, rather than post-deployment.

In addition to its current offerings, CodeKarma plans to advance its proprietary AI-driven autonomous software capabilities. This includes autonomous agents aimed at continuous self-improvement of code quality, performance, and maintainability. The company also aims to build AI-native infrastructure to enhance platform features and usability, supporting collaboration between human developers and AI-generated code.

CodeKarma's focus extends beyond the tech sector, with plans to expand into industries like e-commerce, fintech, and logistics, which require faster deployments and robust codebase management. The company is also looking to strengthen its global presence, with a particular focus on the US market.

Ananth Vanchi, the founder of CodeKarma, stated that the mission is to redefine how software evolves in real-time. Tech advisor Utkarsh noted that CodeKarma reflects the future of intelligent software systems.

Meanwhile, in the agritech sector, MangoPoint, an agritech startup, has raised USD 1 million in a pre-Series A funding round. MangoPoint, founded in 2018 by Manjula Gandhi Rooban and Prasanna Venkatarathnam, manages over 2,000 metric tonnes of mangoes annually and plans to scale up to 20,000 metric tonnes. The funds will be used for expanding infrastructure, entering new markets, enhancing backend operations, and broadening product offerings.

MangoPoint operates certified packhouses for international shipments and caters to industries including food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. The startup exports chemical-free, single-origin mangoes and processed mango products, primarily to markets in North America and Europe.

In the education sector, NPrep, an AI-powered nursing education startup, raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed funding round. NPrep provides a learning and placement platform designed to improve nursing education through personalised, adaptive training paths.

These funding rounds underscore the growing interest in innovative solutions across various sectors, from software development to agriculture and education. As these startups continue to develop and scale, they are poised to make significant impacts in their respective industries.
