Oberlin's Class of 1976 and Class of 2001 to Celebrate 50th and 25th Reunions in 2025
Oberlin College is set to host a series of exciting events next year, with the Class of 1976 and Class of 2001 alumni returning to campus for their respective reunions.
The Class of 1976 is gearing up for a 50th reunion during the Spring Reunions, which are scheduled for Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25, 2025. However, it's worth noting that the official 50th reunion taking place during commencement weekend is for the Class of 1975. This means that the Class of 1976's 50th reunion will likely take place in 2026.
For the 2025 Spring Reunions, the Class of 1976 alumni are encouraged to visit the upcoming Class of 1976 website to stay updated on the events. This new platform will allow alumni to create a profile and access a full weekend schedule, opportunities to plan visits, and reunion FAQs. Registration for the 2025 events closed on May 16, 2025.
In addition to the Class of 1976, the Class of 2001 will also be celebrating their 25th reunion during the same period. Alumni from both classes will have the opportunity to reminisce with old and new friends, mix and mingle, and participate in special alumni-driven programming.
One of the highlights of the Spring Reunions is Illumination, an event featuring lanterns that creates a magical atmosphere on campus. The reunions are also open to helping new graduates join the alumni community, with the Class of 2026 being welcomed to the alumni community at commencement.
