Jeanette Hernandez Prenger, a distinguished alumna of Park University, will be honoured with an Honorary Doctorate of Human Letters degree during the university's Kansas City Area Commencement on May 10, 2025. Prenger, a 2009 graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management Systems, has made significant contributions to her profession, community, and alma mater.

The ceremony will take place at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri, starting at 10 a.m. A total of 575 students are eligible to participate, with 203 set to receive a master's degree and/or graduate certificate, and another 372 scheduled to receive a bachelor's degree, associate degree, and/or undergraduate certificate.

Prenger's lifelong achievements have left an indelible mark on the Kansas City community and beyond. As the founder and CEO of ECCO Select, a talent acquisition and consulting firm specializing in people, process, and technology solutions, she has transformed the company since 1995.
