Customs Office Landshut Invites Public to Explore Careers at April 26 Info Day

The Main Customs Office Landshut is inviting the public to learn about its diverse tasks and career opportunities at an upcoming information day. The event, to be held on April 26, 2025, will provide insights into the application process and showcase various aspects of customs work.

The information day will take place at Sonnenring 14 in Altdorf from 10 am to 2 pm. Visitors can expect interactive stations demonstrating tasks such as determining importability, customs clearance, and financial control of undeclared work. The event will also feature control situations and the deployment of four-legged helpers.

The customs office offers a range of training opportunities. These include positions in the middle customs service, dual study programs in the higher customs service, and a dual study program in administrative informatics. The event is open to schoolchildren from middle schools, secondary schools, FOS, BOS, and grammar schools, along with parents and career changers.

The customs information day in Landshut is the first of three such events this year. Similar events are scheduled for May 10, 2025, in Passau and September 20, 2025, in Plattling. The events provide a unique opportunity to learn about the diverse tasks and career prospects in the customs service.
