Wish for a refreshing ice cream cone on a sweltering day? Why not make a homemade slushie? Or go for our famous artist-inspired Popsicles or even ice cream in a bag for a cool dessert!
Note: Need unique scoops of ice cream? Simply cut out the ice cream scoop template and trace it onto a blank paper, ready for you to express your creativity.
Supplies:
- Ice cream scoop template
- Colored paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Ruler
- Markers
Instructions:
STEP 1: Download the free ice cream scoop template.
STEP 2: Use a ruler and black marker to create a zentangle-inspired cone design on the triangle cone, or color in the ice cream cone as you prefer.
STEP 3: Use markers to color your ice cream scoops using the techniques of Kandinsky, Mondrian, or Lichtenstein.
IDEA: Make it mixed media and use different art supplies to decorate your scoops!
STEP 4: Cut the shapes and glue them to a colored paper background.
