Du bist BERUFen: 77 Students Gain Career Insights in Wiesbaden
The 'Du bist BERUFen' project, running for over a decade, recently concluded its annual festive event. This year, over 70 students from Wiesbaden's secondary schools participated, working in 21 companies and gaining insights into various professions.
The project, aiming to provide orientation and chances for internships or direct starts in professional life, saw 77 out of 105 applicants receive positive responses from companies. Students applied with a short video and profile, and this year's event was held in the 'Mitte-Distrikt' (city center district) for the first time.
The closing event, held from September 25 to October 1, 2025, concluded with a ceremony in the Wartburg of the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden. The event was moderated by students and featured interviews with local officials and theater educators. It offered insights into diverse professions, ranging from crafts to trade to social and cultural fields.
The 'Du bist BERUFen' project, now in its 12th year, continues to provide valuable career orientation opportunities for Wiesbaden's secondary school students. This year's event, with 77 participants and 21 companies involved, was a resounding success, setting the stage for future editions.
