Dubai Airports Unveils DXB for All: Aiming to Be World's Most Inclusive Airports by 2035
Dubai Airports has unveiled the next phase of its accessibility strategy, aiming to make Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC) the world's most inclusive airports by 2035. The initiative, DXB for All, was announced by Majed Al Joker, Chief Operating Officer at Dubai Airports, and builds on the earlier We All Meet the World Differently campaign.
DXB for All is a new awareness campaign that shares real-life stories of guests with diverse needs navigating DXB. It features advocates such as Emirati accessibility pioneer Fatma Al Jassim and former Paralympic swimmer Jessica Smith. The campaign is part of Dubai Airports' commitment to enhancing the travel experience at every stage for all guests with dignity and ease.
Current accessibility services at DXB and DWC range from sensory-friendly lounges to discreet Sunflower Lanyards for extra support. The initiative aligns with international best practices and the UAE's commitment to supporting People of Determination. Dubai Airports has committed to making DXB and DWC the world's most accessible airports by 2035, aiming to make every journey through them an inclusive experience for all travelers. This long-term effort involves collaboration across Dubai's aviation ecosystem, including airlines, police, and ground handlers.
DXB for All is set to transform the accessibility landscape at Dubai's international airports. With a focus on cultural mindset and international best practices, Dubai Airports is dedicated to creating a seamless, inclusive travel experience for all by 2035.
