Dubai Press Club (DPC) has inked significant deals with TikTok, MediaCast, and Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) to bolster the podcasting sector. These agreements aim to foster digital literacy, enhance Arab content marketing, and position Dubai as a top digital media hub.
The partnerships, described as a strategic milestone by DPC Director Maryam Al Mulla, will empower audio content creators and promote innovative content production. Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson of the Dubai Media Council and President of DPC, noted the international confidence in Dubai's creative environment.
Under these agreements, Al Bayan newspaper will provide end-to-end production support for podcasts under the Arab Podcast Program via DMI. TikTok's partnership introduces a digital and media literacy programme, including a LIVE Masterclass for content creators. MediaCast will offer studio access, technical support, and specialised training to podcasting program participants.
These agreements mark a significant step in Dubai's vision to advance media innovation and empower Arab podcasters. While specific partners for the Dubai PodFest 2025 are yet to be announced, the event is expected to foster more collaborations to strengthen digital literacy and online privacy awareness.
