Dubai's Golden Visa Honors 200+ Exceptional Educators
Dubai's Golden Visa programme, under the guidance of Sheikh Hamdan, has recognised over 200 exceptional educators. This initiative aligns with the Education 33 (E33) Strategy, aiming to attract global talent and boost educational excellence in the city.
In the first round, 223 educators were chosen from 433 applicants, representing 51% of total submissions. The selection process prioritised professional achievements, community impact, and peer recognition, ensuring fairness and meritocracy. Among the recipients, 157 were from schools, 60 from universities, and six from early childhood centres. The names and institutions of the selected educators remain confidential.
The second round of applications for Golden Visas will open from 15th October to 15th December 2025, extending the opportunity to more educators in private early childhood centres, schools, and international higher education institutions.
Sheikh Hamdan commended educators as 'the ones who light the way forward', acknowledging their crucial role in shaping Dubai's knowledge-driven future. Aisha Miran, Director-General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), echoed this sentiment, highlighting Dubai's commitment to celebrating and empowering educators.
