Edtech Exhibition and Demonstration, August 2025
A host of innovative educational technology products were showcased at the recent Edtech Show & Tell, highlighting a focus on AI integration, versatile hardware solutions, and accessible global education resources.
Portable Bluetooth Speakers and AI-Powered Education
The TRIBIT StormBox Mini+, a portable Bluetooth speaker with 360° surround sound, 12W output, and customizable sound options, caught the attention of many attendees. Meanwhile, SchoolAI 2.0 introduced Dot, an AI sidekick for teachers that remembers teaching preferences and supports planning, prep, and day-to-day tasks.
AI-Driven Special Education Management Platforms
Streamline, an AI-powered special education management platform, was also unveiled. It promises to reduce paperwork time by 90% and shrink IEP preparation time from 3 hours to just 10 minutes, while increasing capacity for direct therapy by 50% and improving speech-language outcomes by 32% through its AI-enabled SLP Helper.
Hardware Solutions for Schools
Acer showcased two new products: the Acer Chromebox Mini CXM, a compact and fanless mini Chromebox powered by an Intel Celeron N Series processor, equipped with up to 16 GB Dual Channel LPDDR4X memory and 128 GB eMMC storage; and the Acer Chromebox Mini CXM CXM1, a similar device designed for easy deployment and maintenance, suitable for schools of all sizes and spaces.
Additionally, CTL released the Chromebox OPS OPx1-3, a device that transforms interactive displays into ChromeOS devices, leveraging Google's ecosystem for education, collaboration, and entertainment.
Global Education Resources
BBC launched a free global education platform called BBC Learning Hub, offering more than 1,000 video clips, lesson plans, and student activities for pre-K-12 teachers, students, and families. The platform is designed to enhance instruction in classrooms and support at-home learning, with plans for international expansion.
Hands-On Training Programs
Key Code Education offered new hands-on training programs for industry-leading tools such as Ross Video Carbonite and XPression, Vizrt TriCaster, EditShare EFS, and SNS EVO. These programs, led by experienced instructors, are available in-person, online, or on-site.
AI Integration Across Education Products
Instructure announced IgniteAI at InstructureCon 2025, which integrates AI capabilities across its education products to support teaching and learning through a unified AI platform, helping educators navigate and safely harness generative AI tools.
Enhancing Learning Experiences
PBLWorks TEACH, a web-based application with standards-aligned PBL projects for middle school math, science, English language arts, and social studies, aims to provide engaging and effective learning experiences for students.
Lastly, the LG CreateBoard UltraWide display offers a 21:9 aspect ratio and 5K UltraHD Resolution (5120 x 2160 at 60Hz), optimized for Microsoft Teams Rooms (Front Row layout). The OWC USB-C Quad HDMI 4K Adapter uses a single port to create an immersive multi-display experience on Ultra-High Definition monitors.
These new edtech products underscore the ongoing evolution of educational technology, with a focus on making learning more accessible, engaging, and efficient for students and educators alike.
