Education Students from the University of Wyoming to Visit Local Classrooms in Wyoming
The University of Wyoming College of Education is set to host the Wyoming Classroom Connections Tour this September, an exciting event aimed at fostering deeper connections to Wyoming's public education landscape.
Sponsored by the Wyoming School-University Partnership, the UW College of Education, Carbon County School Districts 1 and 2, the tour promises to be an enriching experience for faculty, staff, and students of the College of Education.
Over the course of two mornings, on September 17-18, participants will embark on a journey that includes school facility tours, visits to unique and innovative spaces, classroom observation sessions, and discussions with school leaders.
Nicholas Jesse, Project Coordinator, emphasizes the tour's importance, stating, "This tour provides a valuable opportunity for us to engage with educators across Wyoming, learn about district priorities, teacher support programmes, and future job opportunities, and gain insights into effective teaching practices and the challenges faced by the education sector in each community."
The tour's itinerary also includes interactions with educators, where students and faculty can meet with experienced educators to discuss the unique qualities of each Wyoming school and community. Discussions will cover a wide range of topics, from effective teaching practices to the challenges faced by educators in the field.
Jesse can be contacted for more information at (307) 766-3274 or by email at [email protected].
This tour is more than just a visit; it's an opportunity to cultivate a deeper understanding of Wyoming's education system and to make meaningful connections with educators from across the state. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn, grow, and connect.
