European Union's Parliament and Council convene, passing legislation collectively.

The Digital Angel of Thuringia, a project aimed at introducing older people to the diverse possibilities of the digital world, is set to host its first event in the district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen on July 15th. This interactive lecture, taking place at the Mehrgenerationenhaus Meiningen, Alte Henneberger Straße 2, from 3:30 PM, will focus on the electronic patient record (ePA) and e-prescription.

The event, organised in cooperation with Social Work Meiningen gGmbH and funded by the Thuringian Ministry for Social Affairs, Health, Labor and Family, is part of the Senior Media Education Strategy of the Free State of Thuringia and the Digital Pact for the Elderly. It is a free event, and registration is not required.

Digital experts will be available throughout the session to answer questions, provide practical tips, or give themed lectures in cooperation with local partners. There will be ample time and space for attendees to address any uncertainties they may have.

The Digital Angel of Thuringia project, initiated by Verein Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V. (DsiN), is not a one-time event but a project with multiple stops. For those interested in attending or seeking further details about the event, including the schedule for future stops, are advised to contact local health authorities or specific organisations involved in the initiative.

The Digital Angel of Thuringia project is an integral part of a larger digital strategy for the elderly in Thuringia, with the aim of explaining how new digital solutions can work and simplify daily life.
