The Public Service Commission (PSC), Surkhet Office, has announced an exam for the Technical Assistant posts in the Agriculture Service, Food Nutrition and Quality Control Group. The exam is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2082, at the Surkhet Exam Center.

Eligibility and Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification: Passed S.L.C. (School Leaving Certificate) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • For grading system students, a minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.

Age Requirements

  • General candidates: 18 to 35 years old.
  • Female and differently-abled candidates: Up to 40 years old.
  • Existing permanent employees of affiliated institutions have no age limit but must be employed at the time of the announcement.

Exam and Application Details

  • The exam is a pre-qualification written examination for non-gazetted 2nd and 4th class posts, including Technical Assistant (Prabidhik Sahayak).
  • Applications must be submitted on time with all required documents for eligibility.
  • Incomplete applications or those without the required qualifications or fee payment will be rejected.
  • Examination centers are fixed once chosen; changes are not allowed.
  • The exam uses OMR answer sheets, and only black ink is to be used — use of any other color will result in cancellation.

  • Passing this pre-qualification exam is mandatory to apply for Technical Assistant posts.

The first paper of the exam will be held on 2082/02/01 at 1:00 PM and will last for 45 minutes. The second paper will follow at 2:15 PM and will last for 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Candidates are required to bring their admit card and arrive at the examination building at least 1 hour before the scheduled time. Carrying bags, mobile phones, and other electronic devices into the examination hall is prohibited.

The exam notice has been published for the information of all concerned candidates. The roll numbers for the candidates are 650001 to 650032. Candidates needing a copy of the admit card must collect it from this office at least one day before the examination.
