Novosibirsk Oblast Announces New State Support for Agro-Industrial Education
The government of Novosibirsk Oblast, led by Governor Andrei Travnikov, has announced a new direction for state support aimed at developing the human resources potential of the agro-industrial complex. The details of this measure were presented by Deputy Chairman of the Novosibirsk Oblast Government and Minister of Agriculture Andrei Shindlev.
Under this new state support, funds will be allocated from the Novosibirsk Oblast budget within the regional project 'Kadry in the Agro-Industrial Complex'. These funds will be used for capital repair of educational premises, as well as for the reconstruction, capital repair, modernization, and equipment of middle professional education institutions and schools with agricultural technology classes.
The new state support measure aligns with the tasks of the new national project "Technological Ensuring of Food Security". It aims to enable students to acquire knowledge and skills that meet modern requirements, and to create a sustainable education and training system for agricultural production.
The program will give special focus to equipping educational institutions with agrotechnological classes, where future specialists will begin their training already in school years. Funds will also be used for modernization of educational complexes.
This initiative aims to support increased staffing levels for enterprises in the agro-industrial complex. The new state support measure is part of a comprehensive program aimed at developing the human resources potential of the agro-industrial complex, and is intended to create optimal conditions for training personnel for this key sector for the region.
After the decree is signed, detailed information about the new state support measures will be published on the regional government's website. The financing for equipping agrotechnological school classes in the Novosibirsk region will be provided by the regional government within the period from 2023 to 2025.
In addition, the Novosibirsk region has completed preparations for the XII forum "Techprom-2025". The forum will involve participation of 5 key platforms, and is expected to bring together experts and representatives from the agro-industrial complex to discuss the latest developments and trends in the industry.
