Four interns join Mosaic's regional branches
Mosaic Insurance, a leading global insurance provider, has announced the launch of its 2025 summer internship program, marking the fifth year of the initiative. The program, which began in 2021, places university students in key roles across Bermuda, London, New York, and Chicago.
This year's cohort includes Olivia Washington, Jessica Bruton, Ellie Weber, and Muhammad Sharuf Hossain, who are working in divisions such as communications & marketing, cyber, and data science. One of the highlighted areas is the cyber unit, identified as Mosaic's fastest-growing line of business.
George Cole, previously a Mosaic underwriter in London, has transferred to Mosaic's Bermuda corporate headquarters to build a cybersecurity underwriting unit. Muhammad Sharuf Hossain, a Science intern at Mosaic Chicago, is working with Mosaic's Data & Analytics Team, developing and analyzing cyber-risk datasets and contributing to underwriting tool enhancements.
Ellie Weber, a Cyber Underwriting Intern at Mosaic New York, assists in predictive model development and identifies and supports the building of AI models for risk selection and data visualization. Washington, a Communications & Strategy Intern at Mosaic's corporate headquarters in Bermuda, is integrated into global teams where she works on impactful projects that provide hands-on experience and contribute meaningfully to the company's operations.

So far, some 17 students have participated in the program.
