Future First Graduates
The Balaqaiylar Mektebi program, an educational initiative focused on early childhood education, has been making strides in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
In June, the program was implemented in 20 kindergartens and 74 secondary schools, with a total of 140 children participating in 20 groups in kindergartens and no reported attendance from secondary schools. By July, the program had expanded to 15 kindergartens, accommodating 155 children.
As the summer progresses, the program continues to grow. In August, it is expected that around 100 schools will participate, with a planned coverage of 3000 children. Currently, 2118 children are enrolled, with 1473 on Kazakh and 645 on Russian.
Of these enrolled children, 1548 are attending kindergarten through the program, while 570 are not attending. This leaves approximately 50,000 children expected to participate in the program in August, with the majority attending schools located in the capital.
The Balaqaiylar Mektebi program aims to support children's readiness and foundational skills before the formal school year begins. By providing a preparatory educational environment, the program hopes to give young children a strong start to their academic journey.
As the program continues to grow and evolve, it is clear that its impact on Astana's young learners will be significant. With its focus on early childhood education, the Balaqaiylar Mektebi program is a valuable resource for the capital's schools and families.
In alignment with its focus on early childhood education, the Balaqaiylar Mektebi program is set to impact a substantial number of children, with expectations of 50,000 children participating in August. This educational initiative is instrumental in preparing young learners for their academic journey through its emphasis on education-and-self-development.
As the program progresses, it will not only benefit the children involved but also the schools and families of Astana, making it a resource of great value for the capital.
