In the tropical country of Panama, a high school student has embarked on an innovative project to share his passion for literature with the world. Leveraging AI technology, the student, whose identity remains private for privacy reasons, has created an animated virtual influencer named El Rincon del Cuervo (The Raven's Corner).
The student's project is a series of video reviews, rather than a single video, showcasing his favourite books. He turned to AI-powered tools to bring his vision to life, finding a platform that offered all the features he needed for his project – custom characters, voice AI dialogue in Spanish, and video exports tailored for various social media platforms.
The creation process began with designing the digital avatar. The student utilized AI-powered platforms, such as AI Studios, to design a lifelike character. The platform provided customizable characters with natural facial movements, lip-syncing, and expressions, bringing El Rincon del Cuervo to life visually.
The student then employed AI text-to-speech (TTS) systems to voice his book reviews in Spanish. He either wrote the reviews himself or prompted AI to help generate or refine the scripted reviews. El Rincon del Cuervo's character is dressed in a black suit and wears a crow mask, inspired by the mystery of starting to read a book. The student has written 40 short scripts for his character's dialogue in Spanish. The character is customizable within our website's character creator using the Ready Player Me art style.
