Honoring Marion Wiesel at 90: Virtual Event Supports Beit Tzipora Centers

A virtual event is set to honor Marion Wiesel's living legacy and support the Beit Tzipora Centers in Israel. The celebration coincides with her 90th birthday on Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. EST.

The Beit Tzipora Centers, now managed by WIZO, offer educational services and enrichment programs to over 700 children annually. They were established by Marion and Elie Wiesel to support the education of Ethiopian-Israeli children and families. Marion Wiesel's son, Elisha Wiesel, expressed excitement about the event and its impact on the centers.

The event is organized by the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity and Women's International Zionist Organization (WIZO). It aims to honor Marion Wiesel's lifelong work fighting intolerance and injustice, and supporting education and equality. The event will feature a performance by Israeli singer, songwriter, and musician Idan Raichel.

Marion Wiesel herself expressed her honor in spending her 90th birthday highlighting the impact of the Beit Tzipora Centers. More information about the event, registration, and donations can be found by clicking here.
