ICAR-NAARM Launches Aggnite 5.0: National Student Ideation Competition in Agriculture

ICAR-NAARM, in collaboration with NABARD and a-IDEA, has launched Aggnite 5.0, a national-level online ideation competition for students in agriculture and allied sectors. The event encourages innovative ideas and offers substantial rewards.

Aggnite 5.0 welcomes students aged 17 to 28, pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, or PhD degrees in agriculture or related fields. Ideas can focus on crop productivity, post-harvest management, climate resilience, animal husbandry, agri-fintech, or digital farming. All participants will receive mentoring support, collaboration opportunities, access to a network of experts, and participation certificates.

The top three ideas will be recognised with cash prizes: Rs 25,000 for the first place, Rs 15,000 for the second, and Rs 10,000 for the third. Students from universities or institutions with partnerships or collaborations with the organisers are eligible to participate.

Applications for Aggnite 5.0 close on 25th April 2025. Interested students can apply online at http://bit.ly/3XVDKLm or by scanning the QR code on the official poster. For further information, contact Dr. Subin Thomas at [email protected] or +91 8921418297. The competition aims to foster innovative thinking and provide a platform for students to present their ideas for viable startups in the agriculture sector.
