Infosys Foundation Introduces Springboard Livelihood Initiative to Empower 5 Million Job Seekers by 2030

The Infosys Springboard Livelihood Program, a significant initiative by Infosys Foundation, was launched in July 2025. This program aims to create 500,000 employment opportunities in India by 2030. The objective is to bridge the gap between learning and sustainable livelihoods, particularly for youth across both STEM and non-STEM sectors.

The program focuses on job creation, providing training in high-demand and cutting-edge technologies, delivering foundational workplace readiness modules, and enabling job seekers to develop skills that meet industry needs and the evolving AI-age demands. The training offered is tailored to employment across various sectors, with a focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital marketing, finance, and soft skills like communication, time management, and interview preparation.

The Infosys Springboard Livelihood Program is implemented via Infosys Springboard, a flagship digital learning platform from Infosys. Over ₹200 crore has been committed for the first phase of the program, which has already facilitated over 80,000 job placements in FY25.

Infosys Foundation is collaborating with nearly 20 implementation partners, including experts and industry leaders, to curate diverse job opportunities and design industry-relevant curricula. These partners include ICT Academy, Unnati, Nirmaan, Magic Bus, Aga Khan Rural Support Programme, Centum, CII Foundation, and NIIT Foundation.

V Srikanth, CEO of ICT Academy, emphasised the growing need for skilled talent in diverse sectors, stating, "The Infosys Springboard Livelihood Program offers industry-relevant courses in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning, preparing our youth for a dynamic job market."
