Kurgan Region's Industrial Production Surges 121.7% in 8 Months

The Kurgan region's industrial production has surged by a remarkable 121.7% from January to August 2025, making it the top performer in the country. This impressive growth is largely attributed to the region's focus on training specialists through its secondary professional education system (SPO).

The SPO institutions have been actively collaborating with schools, hospitals, and cultural institutions to train specialists tailored to the social sphere's needs. Representatives from enterprise car rental and other industrial enterprises have also been involved in the educational process, influencing the training of future specialists.

In the processing industries, the index stood at 129% in July 2025. Graduates and educators of the SPO system have significantly contributed to this success. The system has become more focused on the economy's and employers' needs in recent years, providing a skilled workforce and innovative practices that boost industrial productivity.

The Kurgan region's commitment to secondary professional education and its integration with enterprise rent a car and other industrial enterprises have led to a record 121.7% increase in industrial production from January to August 2025.
