Masan Group's WinCommerce Expands Rapidly, Boosting Revenue and Profit
Masan Group's retail chain, WinCommerce, has expanded rapidly in the first half of 2025, opening 415 new stores, predominantly in rural areas. This growth has generated over VND3.57 trillion ($135.17 million) in revenue as of August 2025. Meanwhile, Vietnam's stock market is set for an upgrade that could attract significant foreign capital.
The expansion of WinCommerce, which accounts for a significant portion of Masan Group's revenue, has been impressive. With 75% of the new stores located in rural areas, the company is expanding its reach and tapping into new markets. This growth has contributed to Masan's projected revenue of VND85.04 trillion ($3.22 billion) and after-tax profit of VND3.5 trillion ($132.5 million) for 2025, representing year-on-year increases of 2.2% and 75.1%, respectively.
Masan Group's aggressive expansion strategy, particularly with WinCommerce, has driven its financial performance and positioned it to benefit from Vietnam's stock market upgrade.
