Mastering Aquatic Skills in Garath's Swimming Pool
The Splash Down at Stettiner Strasse
Hey there! Exciting times are ahead for swimmers in southern Düsseldorf as City Director Burkhard Hintzsche, alongside Christoph Schlupkothen, Managing Director of the Bathing Association, have recently unveiled the revamped swimming pool at Stettiner Strasse.
"It's about time we can provide 'non-swimmer classes' to numerous students preparing for swimming lessons," beamed Hintzsche. "This updated swimming pool will also bolster club sports in the area."
This refurbished facility got a thorough makeover, with upgraded doors, windows, tiles, and roof, and the installation of a new approximately 75 square meter pool sporting a movable floor. The changing rooms have undergone a transformation too, with the addition of barrier-free showers and toilets. Energy-saving lighting now illuminates the pool area, and improvements have been made to the ventilation system, pool water technology, and heating. The entrance area boasts a beautiful artistic design, thanks to school participation.
Christoph Schlupkothen expressed his appreciation for everyone involved in the project, especially the hard-working employees who made it a reality. "This pool project may have been smaller compared to the new structures in the bathing plan," said Schlupkothen, "but it serves as an essential addition to the water surface offerings in southern Düsseldorf, particularly for critical swimming education."
Alas, the sources currently lack any intel on precisely how this watering hole on Stettiner Strasse has been revolutionized in terms of energy efficiency and artistic design. To obtain comprehensive information, it's advised to consult official Düsseldorf city reports or recent local news announcements dedicated to the city's aquatic facilities.
Until next time, keep the splashin'! 🏊♂️🏊♀️
Engaging in the revamped swimming pool at Stettiner Strasse offers opportunities for education and self-development, as Christoph Schlupkothen noted, emphasizing its importance for critical swimming education. Furthermore, continued learning can be fostered through the experience of mastering different swimming techniques in this renovated facility.
