Missoula Talent Show Supports Local Children's Shelter
A talent show is set to take place in Missoula, with proceeds supporting a local children's shelter. The event, hosted by Anne-Marie Amons, Mckiel Cooper, and Story Land as part of their National Honors Society project, will be held at the Zootown Arts Community Center (ZACC) Showroom downtown on Oct. 22 at 6 p.m.
The ZACC, a space that fosters local and regional artists, will host the event. The talent show encourages young adults to step out of their comfort zone and explore performing arts. Interested participants can sign up via a QR code on the event's information flyer. The show may feature a judge and a gift basket for the winner, or function as an open mic performance. It is open to Hellgate students and other young adults or kids who wish to perform. The event is scheduled on a school night to encourage a greater turnout. Organizers are considering a ten-dollar ticket fee, with proceeds going to the Watson's Children's Shelter if enforced.
The talent show aims to bring together Hellgate students and the community, providing a platform for them to showcase their skills and talents. The event promises an evening of entertainment and a chance to support a worthy cause.
