The Ural Federal District Youth Forum "UTRO" 2023 is set to be an exciting event that focuses on the development and engagement of young people within the Ural Federal District of Russia. This year's forum, which takes place across several cities including Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Perm, and Tyumen, aims to foster creativity, promote social initiatives, and enhance skills relevant to the future workforce.

The forum is conducted as part of the national project "Demography," a government initiative aimed at supporting youth, improving demographic indicators, and ensuring sustainable social development through the engagement and empowerment of the younger generation. Its alignment with the national project "Youth and Children" further solidifies its focus on youth-related matters.

The Sverdlovsk region, in particular, will play a significant role in this year's event. The regional governor, Denis Pasler, has shown active support for youth initiatives and has previously awarded gubernatorial prizes for the implementation of youth initiatives. The region will present the theme "Developers," focusing on IT tools and services for professional tasks.

Last year, the event was hosted in the Sverdlovsk region with over 3,000 applicants, and this year, registration continues until July 24. The forum is open to residents of the Sverdlovsk region aged 14 to 35, offering an opportunity for local youth to get involved.

Participants will work on developing their competencies and flexible skills to achieve their career goals, with the forum's theme this year being the concept of a young professional in the modern world. The 80th anniversary of the Great Victory will also be a key theme, honouring the sacrifices made by the previous generations.

The UTRO Forum has a rich history, having taken place 15 times and attracting over 35,000 participants from various regions. It has been supported by the Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Ural Federal District since 2013, demonstrating its importance in the region.

With over 260 applications already received, it's clear that the Ural Federal District Youth Forum "UTRO" 2023 is an event not to be missed for those looking to make a difference and contribute to the broader goals of Russia's national "Demography" project. The results of the selection process will be available on the "Youth of Russia" platform.
