Parents in Krasnoyarsk can now enroll first-graders in schools
Rewritten Article:
Time's a-tickin'! First-graders in Krasnoyarsk are gearing up for school enrollment, starting from April 1st. Parents have different deadlines, depending on whether they prefer sticking with the school their kid is assigned to or switching to another one.
As per the city's education department, more than 14 thousand little ones will attend school this year. Enrollment takes place in two stages:
- From April 1st to June 30th, applications are accepted for families living on school-owned territories, as well as for siblings already studying at a particular school (regardless of residence), plus eligible beneficiaries.
- From July 7th to September 5th, schools accept applications for available spots, and anyone interested can apply.
They'll take students aged 6.5 to 8, but exceptions may be made for early or late enrollment after a thorough Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical evaluation.
Compiling an application is a breeze when you use the state services platform, or you can visit the school in person if you prefer.
Here's What You'll Need for Your Little One's First-Grade Entry:
- A family application statement (submitted by parents or legal guardians with relevant identification).
- The original certified copy of your child's birth certificate (or another document verifying family ties and copy).
- The original certified copy of your child's residence registration papers (or registration papers for the school-owned territory and copy).
To find out which school your home is assigned to, grab your eyes and take a peek here on the city's education department website. Information about enrollment, submission timeline, and number of available spots for first-graders will be posted on official school websites. In total, over 400 new first-grade classes will be established this year across schools in Krasnoyarsk.
