Park University Initiates Leadership Training Program for Students
Park University's Office of Professional Education and Workforce Development is partnering with Amy Leslie, chief executive officer of Perspective Consulting Inc., to offer a four-week virtual leadership course called ParkULeads. This program is designed to enhance leadership skills and provide participants with the tools they need to become agile, resilient leaders who inspire others.
Curriculum
The ParkULeads curriculum is structured to cover a range of topics, including leadership theory and models, effective communication and team building, conflict resolution and problem-solving, emotional intelligence and self-awareness, change management and strategic planning, and practical applications for real-world leadership challenges. Workshops, seminars, group activities, and a potential capstone project or assessment may also be included to demonstrate leadership competencies.
