Police Trainee Farewell: State's Top Brass to Inspire New Officers

The University of Police Baden-Württemberg's Institute of Training in Herrenberg will host a significant event on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. The formal farewell ceremony for middle police service trainees will commence at 10:00 AM in the Aula of the Institute. State Criminal Director Sandra Zarges will deliver a speech and honor the best trainee of the year. Minister of the Interior, Digitalization and Municipalities, Thomas Strobl, will also address the gathering.

The Institute of Training Herrenberg is one of five such locations operated by the University of Police Baden-Württemberg. The ceremony marks the culmination of the trainees' journey, as they prepare to enter the middle police service. Sandra Zarges, known for her leadership in the state's criminal directorate, will acknowledge the best performer among the graduating class. Minister Thomas Strobl, a prominent figure in Baden-Württemberg's political landscape, will speak at the event, offering words of encouragement and guidance for the new officers.
