The Hannah Arendt Association for Political Thought e.V. has announced that political philosopher Seyla Benhabib will be the recipient of the Hannah Arendt Prize for Political Thought 2025.

Born in Istanbul in 1950, Benhabib hails from a Sephardic-Turkish family.
