At Syracuse University, the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) has been diligently working to promote a culture of academic integrity. Two key figures in this endeavour are Aileen Gallagher and Laura Lisnyczyj.

Aileen Gallagher, an associate dean for academic affairs in the Newhouse School of Public Communications, has been instrumental in driving academic integrity initiatives. Kate Marzen, the CTLE assistant director of academic expectations, stated that the recipients of the Academic Integrity Outstanding Service Awards, which include both Gallagher and Lisnyczyj, go well above and beyond for their department. These awards recognise achievements in maintaining academic integrity standards and policies.

Gallagher and Lisnyczyj's work is pivotal in creating a robust academic integrity program that emphasizes preventive education, awareness, and support systems. Together, they help Syracuse University maintain its commitment to ethical academic practices. The CTLE could not fulfill its responsibilities and commitment to the Syracuse community without the volunteers in the academic integrity program.
