As part of the Year of Vocational Professions, the college has hosted several large-scale events and professional competitions, including "Dala Skills," attracting a diverse range of participants.
The college prides itself on being a starting point for future professionals, with success in the profession depending on the graduate's ambition and hard work. The institution's workshops and laboratories are equipped with modern equipment for high-precision welding, Building Information Modelling (BIM) design, and more, providing students with the necessary tools to excel in their chosen fields.
The college has also taken a significant step towards inclusivity by implementing inclusive education for students with special educational needs. Currently, 82 such students are studying at the college, making it one of the first in the region to do so.
In 2021, the college admitted 390 students on a state order, marking a 50-student increase from the previous year. This growth indicates a growing demand for quality technical education in the region.
The college offers vocational training in 15 fields, including architecture, construction, welding, industrial and landscape design, information security, and furniture production. According to the college's director, Aсеl Saparova, 80-85% of the college's graduates find employment immediately after graduation.
For students with special educational needs, the college offers adapted programs, pedagogical support, and a comfortable learning environment. One such student, Asanaly Batyrshinov, credits the college for giving him the foundation and confidence to start his own business. Today, he heads a team of 25, carrying out internal finishing work and government contracts.
The college also boasts collaborations with several regional enterprises, including "CenterEnergyMechanization," Prof Invest, "Barusan Makina Kazakhstan," Alina Group, "ZhAKKO Karaganda," "Santekhplast," and others.
