Unleashing the Power of Knowledge and Vocational Service 💡🔧🔥
Rotary's Vocational Service Month Concludes
It's full steam ahead for Rotary International District 9102, representing Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Niger, as they've kicked off two exhilarating initiatives: the Knowledge Bank and Vocational Service Projects! In anticipation of the district's January Vocational Service Month, both projects were unveiled virtually by District Governor Victor Yaw Asante.
With the District Vocational Training Team's Chair, country chairs, and committee members rallying the troops, Rotary enthusiasts are encouraged to share their expertise in the brand-new, virtual Knowledge Bank platform. This biennial project strives to recognize and celebrate the forgotten avenues of service by uniting partners in a collaborative learning space.
Prior to the grand launch, District 9102 invited key stakeholders, including the Council of Presidents, Rotaractors, Francophone and Anglophone blocks, to engage and contribute to the project's success. As January, the designated Vocational Service Month, rolls in, the committee will lend a hand to uplift District Rotary through various vocational service endeavors.
The Chair's urgent call to action centers on fostering a vision of a sustainable future utilizing business and professional life as the cornerstone, while recognizing vocational service as the driving force behind that vision. In the eyes of Rotary International, the mission of Vocational Service is to uphold high ethical standards in business and professions; to assert the dignity of all useful occupations; and for each Rotarian to view their profession as a means to serve society.
With this January launch, Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Interactors are urged to embrace their professional prowess and intellect to mobilize impactful change within the district and local communities. As a collective goal, visiting the learning center regularly is essential to continuous learning and being part of the winning team. Rotary International, after all, champions humanitarian service, promotes ethical standards in all professions, and fosters international understanding, goodwill, and peace.
