Six Young Adults Start Apprenticeships in Greifswald
Six young adults have embarked on their apprenticeships today at the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald. Among them are two men and one woman starting as administrative management assistants. The city administration offers a diverse range of tasks, providing the apprentices with insights into various areas.
The new apprentices were selected from a pool of 46 applicants following an extensive process. Two men will be trained in specific roles: one as a road sweeper and another as a gardener. The woman will serve as a specialist for media and information services in the city library. Mayor Dr. Stefan Fassbinder welcomed the apprentices alongside trainers and the chairperson of the works council.
Interested parties can already apply for apprenticeships or traineeships at the city administration for the following year. Successful apprentices have a good chance of being taken on and securing career prospects within the city administration.
