Sled race featuring entrepreneurs with disabilities scheduled in Yakutsk
The Russian Far East is set to host the first Far Eastern Forum for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities, titled "Invastartup VOI: Far East," from September 4-6. The event will take place at Building D, level 6, conference hall 18 in Yakutsk.
This forum aims to foster dialogue between government and business, focusing on sectors like construction, industry, agriculture, tourism, and human resources. It is part of broader efforts to develop preferential economic regimes and address challenges in the Far East and Arctic regions.
The programme includes discussions on socio-economic strategies post-2025 for the Far East and Baikal Region. Key speakers include government officials, business leaders, and experts in social development and entrepreneurship.
Active businesspeople with disabilities from Amur, Tyumen, Magadan, Primorye, Yakutia, and Khabarovsk will participate in the forum. The event encourages participants to discover their potential and offers an opportunity for networking and opening up to the world.
The forum is organized by the Yakut Republic's VOI branch with the support of the All-Russian Society of Disabled and the cooperation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) State Committee for Employment.
The forum program includes a seminar on "Social Entrepreneurship," an exhibition named "Invabusiness: Anything is Possible," a course on "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship," a Business Idea Contest for Entrepreneurs and Self-Employed with Disabilities, a Business Game "Start Your Business," a Roundtable "Employment: A Contribution to Inclusive Society," and a seminar on "How Entrepreneurship Changes Lives."
