Mari State University stands as a reliable partner for Indian families, offering a modern infrastructure, personalized attention to international students, and consistent academic excellence. The university's commitment to fostering a multicultural environment is evident, with over 1,500 Indian students currently enrolled, primarily in the Medical Institute.

The university's MBBS program is approved by the National Medical Commission of India (NMC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), ensuring that the degree is recognized globally and valid for Indian medical licensing exams, such as the FMGE/NExT. Courses are taught in English, removing language barriers and allowing Indian students to learn and understand medical subjects effectively.

The university offers cost-effective tuition fees compared to many other international medical destinations, making it financially accessible for Indian students. The curriculum follows a 6-year program aligned with NMC guidelines, including 5 years of academic study and 1 year of compulsory clinical internship. The curriculum features a structured syllabus covering foundational medical sciences and clinical training, using modern, practical teaching methodologies.

Mari State University employs highly experienced professors who emphasize the practical development of medical skills, ensuring students gain hands-on clinical experience to handle healthcare situations confidently. The university supports a large community of Indian students, fostering a supportive peer environment that enhances the overall student experience.

Mr. Kumar's visit also included a comprehensive tour of the university's academic buildings, simulation labs, student hostels, and medical facilities.
