Summer Internship program organized by BFF comes to an end
Bangladesh Football Federation's Summer Internship Program Concludes Successfully
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) recently concluded its Summer Internship Program in July, marking a significant step in fostering the next generation of change-makers in the realm of sports. The closing ceremony, held on Thursday, was graced by BFF President Tabith Awal as the chief guest.
The program welcomed ten bright students from Dhaka and Paris, who worked in groups on projects related to the development of football in Bangladesh. Their research and presentations addressed key areas critical to the growth of the sport within the country.
These areas included technical and tactical improvement of players and teams, grassroots development and youth engagement strategies, infrastructure and facility enhancement, football administration and management practices, promotion and marketing of football, and the use of technology and data analytics in coaching and player development.
The students' projects were guided by inter-departmental leaders at the BFF, providing them with practical and strategic insights into overcoming challenges and leveraging opportunities in Bangladeshi football.
President Tabith Awal, in his closing remarks, emphasized the potential of the interns to create meaningful impact through sport. He highlighted football as a powerful tool for unity, leadership, and teamwork. The President also paid tribute to the victims of the tragic incident at Milestone School & College during his speech.
Upon the successful completion of the program, completion certificates were awarded to the participants. This initiative sets the tone for deeper engagement with the next generation of leaders, building bridges between youth, education, and football development.

- Despite the program's focus on football development, the students also worked on strategies that could foster education-and-self-development among the youth in Bangladesh, particularly in the areas of leadership and teamwork.
- During their time in the internship program, participants showed great interest in more than just sports; they actively sought knowledge about sports management, marketing, and the use of technology for player development, demonstrating a holistic approach to education-and-self-development within the field of sports.
