Sverdlovsk Oblast Boosts Medium Professional Education with 14 Billion Ruble Investment
Sverdlovsk Oblast has allocated over 14 billion rubles from its regional budget in 2024 to boost medium professional education. This significant investment aims to address the growing demand for skilled workers in the region's thriving industries.
The 'First Profession' project offers ninth-grade graduates who haven't passed school exams a chance to acquire sought-after vocational skills. Meanwhile, the 'Professionalism' project, a collaborative effort between the state, education, and business, trains personnel tailored to the needs of local organizations and enterprises.
To encourage participation, tax incentives have been introduced for employers and enterprises supporting medium professional education. The region's dynamic development in this sphere is driven by the constant demand for trained personnel from large industrial enterprises.
Lyudmila Babushkina, Chairperson of the Legislative Assembly of Sverdlovsk Oblast, recently congratulated residents on the Day of Medium Professional Education. The region is also creating conditions to train individuals with limited health abilities and has established a unique educational system for medium professional education, providing residents with opportunities to succeed in their chosen professions and in life.
