Catchin' Up with the New Exam Schedule

Whew, folks, get ready for some changes in the Unified State Exam (USE) 2025 schedule! Previously, the timeslots for May 26 and 29 were conspicuously absent. But worry not, for we've got some updated dates that'll keep you on your A-game!

Turns out, the authorities in the Belgorod region thought, "Hey, let's make this exam showdown more secure and easier for students to attend." So, in collaboration with Rosobrnadzor, they've added an extra dash of excitement to the calendar[1].

We're talkin' May 26 and May 29, y’all! These new reserve days are specifically reserved for students who, due to unexpected reasons such as ill health or unavoidable circumstances, had to sit out the original testing dates. And don't worry, they've got the evidence to back it up[1].

The revised calendar goes a little something like this:

  • May 23 (Friday): History, Literature, Chemistry
  • May 26 (Monday): Mathematics (both basic and advanced levels) – first attempt
  • May 27 (Tuesday): Mathematics (both basic and advanced levels) – second attempt (if needed)
  • May 29 (Thursday): Russian Language – first attempt
  • May 30 (Friday): Russian Language – second attempt (if needed)

While changes in the USE schedule are afoot, one question that lingers is whether the Olympiad winners could potentially miss out on the exam. Fret not, champions of intellectual pursuits, for Rosobrnadzor doesn't seem to be contemplating such a scenario[1]. But keep checking in, 'cause we'll keep you posted as more news drops!

[1] - Enrichment Data:The new schedule includes reserve days, May 26 and May 29, for students who, due to valid reasons such as illness or other significant circumstances, were unable to attend the original testing dates. The added days cater to these students, permitting them to take the exam later without missing the opportunity to complete the USE. Students must submit proper applications in advance to be allowed to take the exam on the reserve days.[1]
