The festivities began with a colourful program on the stage, the centerpiece of the event. The school band and teacher band kicked off the celebration with a lively rendition of "Tage wie diese" by Toten Hosen. Pennants designed by students in religious education or practical philosophy classes were displayed during the festival, showcasing their creativity.

Three former students, Reinhard Groß, Hans Pettelkau, and Wolfgang Höcker, attended the event, marking a special occasion as they celebrated their 60th school graduation. In a unique fundraising effort, Andreas Merten and Dirk Sauerborn cycled approximately 300 kilometers to Werner von Siemens' birthplace in Lenthe, Lower Saxony, and collected 1,250 euros for the school's support association.

As the sun set, report cards were issued, and everyone looked forward to the summer holidays. The Werner von Siemens Realschule continues to uphold its motto, "Together · For each other · From each other", fostering a sense of community and unity among its students and alumni.
