TurkicSkills 2022: Kazakhstan's Aktau Hosts Successful International Championship
The first international TurkicSkills championship concluded successfully in Aktau, Kazakhstan. The event, which ran until October 9, saw winners joining the ranks of top young professionals from Turkic countries. Over 70 students and young professionals, accompanied by 90 experts, participated in the competition that spanned various fields such as engineering, IT, manufacturing, robotics, and service industries.
TurkicSkills, held as part of Kazakhstan's Year of Vocational Professions, aimed to promote best practices in technical and vocational education, foster international cooperation, and enhance youth's professional potential. The event was attended by Vice Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Maira Meldibekova, who praised the participants' skills and dedication.
Competitors came from six Turkic countries: Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. They showcased their talents in a range of competitions, with the winners set to join the elite of young Turkic professionals.
The successful conclusion of TurkicSkills marks a significant step in strengthening international cooperation and promoting vocational education among Turkic countries. The event, held in Aktau for the first time, has set a high standard for future competitions and has inspired young professionals to strive for excellence in their respective fields.
