Uniform implementation planned for this academic year, confirms Bellegprom

Belarus is considering implementing a unified school uniform across its institutions starting this academic year, a topic recently discussed by Tatiana Lugina, head of the "Bellegprom" concern.

Individual schools, at the discretion of the director and parent council, decide whether to adopt a single uniform design for students or prescribe a particular color for specific student groups.

Lugina revealed that, despite rumors, there will be no unified school uniform by the 2025-2026 academic year. Instead, she explained, a list of approved school uniform items for boys and girls has been established, purchased for school by students while maintaining flexibility for individual preferences.

In preparation for the new academic season, "Bellegprom" sent catalogs showcasing school uniform options for children of various ages to all educational institutions in April. Specialists at the concern analyzed popular student clothing models from the previous year's parent polls and tailored their production accordingly.

Lugina mentioned that they prepared approximately 1.2 million units of products to cater to student demands, ready to respond quickly to buyers' preferences. She went on to assure that on every Knowledge Day, no student was left without a blouse, pants, or skirt.

Overall, specific details about unified school uniform regulations for the 2025-2026 academic year in Belarus are scarce. For accurate and detailed information, it's advisable to consult Belarusian educational authorities or local educational institutions directly.

Speculations about a general news item regarding education-and-self-development, such as the implementation of a unified school uniform in Belarus by the 2025-2026 academic year, have been dispelled, with the head of "Bellegprom" concern, Tatiana Lugina, confirming no such uniform will be mandated during that period. Instead, schools have been provided with a list of approved school uniform items for general news coverage, maintaining flexibility for individual preferences.
