University Honors Long-Serving Staff Members at Park University
Park University Celebrates Service Anniversaries of 89 Employees
Park University recently honoured 89 employees for their dedicated service to the institution, marking a combined total of 895 years of commitment. The recognition ceremony, held on October 29, 2021, was a testament to the long-standing dedication and hard work of these individuals.
Among the honourees were Debra Montoya, a Student Success Coach with 5 years of service, and Kena Wolf, the Interim Chief Operating Officer, also with 5 years of service. Jim Vanderleeuw, Professor of Public Administration, Florenda Jarrard, Assistant Director of Academic Success, and Ben Sayevich, Professor of Music/Violin, each with 5 years of service, were also acknowledged.
With 10 years of service, Brandee Howard, Graduate Student Success Coach, and Allyson Price, Assistant Registrar, were recognised for their long-standing contributions. Notable employees with 15 years of service include Jenny Keane, Director of Development, and Stefanie Obrist, Graduate Programs Analyst.
Jayme Uden, Associate Vice President and Dean of Students, and Mike Talamantes, Director of Volleyball and Men's/Women's Volleyball Head Coach - Parkville Campus, each with 10 years of service, were also celebrated. Kevin Vicker, Director of International Education, and Alla Adams, Assistant Professor of Healthcare Administration, each with 5 years of service, were also part of the honourees.
Employees with 25 years of service were given special recognition. This group included Brad Bunge, Student Success Coach, and Ed James, Grand Forks (N.D.) Air Force Base Campus Director. Jamie Pasley, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Connie Guzman, Camp Pendleton (Calif.) Campus Director, each with 15 years of service, were also included in this category.
Jutta Pegues, Director of Adjunct Faculty Coaching and Development, with 20 years of service, was another notable honouree. Lindsey Derry, Softball Head Coach, and Matt deMayo, Fairchild Air Force Base (Wash.) Campus Director, each with 5 years of service, were also acknowledged.
Other employees honoured included Aimee Patton, Director of Marketing, with 5 years of service, and Kelsey Ruoff, Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer, also with 5 years of service. Nathalie Brech, Lenexa (Kan.) Campus Director, with 15 years of service, and June Mohr, Columbus (Ohio) Campus Director, with 25 years of service, were also part of the list.
