University of Leipzig's 'How Will We Live?' Lecture Series Kicks Off April 9
The University of Leipzig's Studium universale lecture series in summer semester 2025, themed 'How will we live?', kicks off on April 9, 2025. The series, which explores the future of various aspects of life, is open to all and free of charge. The first event begins at 7:00 PM in Auditorium 1 of the Auditorium Building on the Augustusplatz campus.
Kicking off the series is a lecture by renowned futurologist Kai Gondlach, titled 'Future is a Matter of Perspective'. Following this, Prof. Dr. Elmar Schenkel will delve into the realms of oracles, dreams, and fortune-tellers. The series will also include a talk on building a time machine, and topics ranging from the future of sports and education to computer games, mobility, and artificial intelligence.
Among the speakers is Prof. Katja Liebal, who will participate in the Studium universale lectures. The series comprises ten lectures, with four more in planning.
