In an impressive display of academic prowess, students from the Sakha Republic have made a significant impact in the recent All-Russian Schoolchildren's Olympiad. This prestigious competition, which is part of the national project "Youth and Children" under the guidance of Russian President Vladimir Putin, aims to support and celebrate talented schoolchildren across the country.

The Sakha Republic saw a remarkable improvement in its educational achievements, moving from the 72nd to the 24th place in the rankings. This is the best result for the region in the last five years.

A total of 30 students from the Sakha Republic participated in the final stage of the Olympiad, with ten awards to show for their efforts. Three students emerged as winners, while seven took runner-up positions.

In the realm of sociology, Darina Danilova from the Arctic School clinched the top spot. The winners were not limited to this subject, as young Sakha students also excelled in English, Chinese, and French languages.

Maxim Yevseyev, a 10th-grader from SUNTS of the North-Eastern Federal University, made a double triumph by winning in both the French and English language Olympiad. Lu Qizhun also succeeded in the Chinese language Olympiad.

The students from the Sakha Republic also demonstrated their physical prowess, with six of them winning the physical culture Olympiad. Irina Fedorenko from School No. 17 in Yakutsk, Lyubov Gavrilenko from Neryungri Lyceum No. 24 named after E.A. Varshavsky, Yulia Ganyak from Yakutsk school No. 1, Polina GomANOVA from Yakutsk school No. 31, Arina Pulyaevskaya from Yakutsk school No. 33, and 10th-grader Sofron Skryabin from Yakutsk State University were among the winners.

In addition to the students, the heads of educational institutions and teachers who prepared the winners were also awarded a scholarship of 500,000 rubles each. Runners-up in the All-Russian Schoolchildren's Olympiad will receive 100,000 rubles each.

This initiative is a testament to the continued commitment to nurturing and recognising the talents of young students in the Sakha Republic and across Russia. The success of these students serves as an inspiration for others to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.
